Auto-create Project tasks on any schedule you set once

Your team recreates the same tasks every week or month — Monday standups, quarterly reviews, monthly billing reminders. Each one costs 2-3 minutes of manual entry and risks getting forgotten when someone's out or busy.

Recurring Task Generator builds those tasks automatically. You define the template once (title, assignee, project, tags, description) and set the recurrence rule — every Monday, first of the month, every 14 days, whatever fits your workflow. The addon spawns each instance on schedule. Tasks land in the assignee's list with the correct due date and all the context they need.

Works with Odoo Project. No cron jobs to configure, no separate calendar to maintain. Templates live in a dedicated menu under Project. You can pause or edit any recurrence rule without losing history.

One logistics coordinator using this for weekly shipment checklists went from 8 manual task entries per month to zero. A 12-person services team eliminated the forgotten monthly client review task that used to require 2-3 reminder emails to resurrect.
