Thread Auto-Collapse hides chatter messages older than a date you pick. Set it to 7 days, 30 days, or any threshold that matches how your team works. Recent messages stay visible at the top. Older messages collapse into a single line you can expand when you need the history.

Works on any Odoo model with chatter: leads, tickets, sales orders, projects. Your sales manager stops scrolling through Q1 updates to find this week's quote. Your support agent sees the last three customer replies without hunting.

Set your collapse threshold once in Settings > General Settings. Every user sees the same cutoff. No per-user configuration, no training needed.
