Your sales manager opens CRM each morning and faces 60 identical cards. A dozen are overdue. A few have gone cold for days. Nothing on the board surface signals either condition. She clicks card after card just to find out where to start — and that scan eats 10 minutes before real work begins.

Kanban Color Rules lets you define conditional highlighting in a point-and-click interface. Pick a model, choose a field, set an operator and a value, then assign one of Odoo's native card colors. Save the rule and every board load applies it automatically. Overdue records go red. Pending approvals go orange. Won deals go green. No developer ticket, no XML file, no JavaScript override required.

Rules stack with priority ordering, so when a record matches multiple conditions the most urgent color wins. You can disable any rule without losing its saved configuration — useful when you are testing a new threshold or adjusting for a campaign. Admins configure rules once per model and every team member sees the result on their next board load.

The addon works on any model with a kanban view: CRM, Inventory, Project, Helpdesk, or your own custom modules. Install once, create your first rule in under five minutes, and your board starts telling your team exactly where to look.
